I'm always the first to swear that autumn in Paris is simply gorgeous - all the colors and beautiful light definitely bring out the best of the city. However, at the same time, as soon as I have an opportunity to fly off to the warmer parts of the world, I'm more than keen on grabbing it ;)
Luckily, such an occasion popped out last week and I hurried to Orly airport, ready to spend a few days in a place where the sun always shines and the gentle breeze brings about exotic, oriental scents. After several hours of flight and changing planes in Istanbul, I found myself in one of the most renowned Turkish resorts - Bodrum.
Famous for its crazy nightlife and the possibility of practicing all sorts of water sports, Bodrum is quite often compared to the French Saint-Tropez. However, as a photographer I was much more interested in lively street scenes, wonderful, vivid colors and... the delicious Turkish çay!
After walking for several hours and discovering some of the most charming corners of Bodrum, I couldn't be more lucky to cool down a little bit in the lovely Caresse Resort. The place turned out to be a perfect spot to admire sunrises and surrounding islands.
Already back to Paris, I feel kind of more prepared to face the upcoming chilly days, thanks to this very last summer breeze.
