Weather in Paris has been pretty exceptional recently. For more than a week now, a cloudless sky stretches over the city every day and around 4pm one of my favorite moments of the day begins, a so-called golden hour. Buildings, sidewalks and streets are literally floating in golden light which gives a whole city a totally breathtaking appearance ;).
This "golden hour" precedes another time of the day, which is just as perfect for a lil' shooting. As the dusk is coming over, city lights, cafes and bars lit up slowly, one after another.
Then, all of a sudden, the colors that are unlikely to be seen at a daylight appear. As soon as the night is coming closer, the city begins to sparkle with dozens of colors. As a photographer I do my best not to miss this excellent opportunity and take as many pictures as possible... Especially that it is so much fun to play around with a tripod, which is the perfect tool to capture Paris, vibrating with colors.
