Seen on the streets of Paris (1).

If you had a look on the last week's article, you'll know that I particularly enjoy taking photos of black silhouettes sneaking around the city. However it's worth mentioning that just as often I try to give up on shooting those more or less anonymous passers-by and get a closer perspective instead.

It's definitely not easy and every time I have to force myself a little to do that one step further and risk a contact with people that I don't know. Without any doubt this is much more exciting than always having to remain at a safe distance. However, at the same time there is no other kind of photography that would teach me so well the subtle art of being invisible with my camera.

And so here I go, looking for colors and light, in search for people wearing funny or beautiful clothes or just doing something that catches my attention.

Streets, bridges, cafes - places and opportunities for this kind of photography are countless and even if results are not always satisfying, it's still totally worth overcoming the fear and shyness and start some serious shooting.
